My name is Kim and I recently lost my beautiful Grandson ( my first Grandchild ) Elliot.
Elliot was only 8 and half months old when he passed away on the 5th of Febuary 2006.
Elliot was born with his bowel on the outside, the doctors managed to place his bowel back
inside his tummy, but due to other complications Elliot died of liver failure. Elliot spent
his whole short life in hospital, that was his home and he had 24/7 love and care not only
from his family, but from his extended family of nurses and staff at the hospital. He was
not a sickly baby, but a very happy little boy and might I say a very brave little boy!
Elliot had the most beautiful blue eyes and the cutiest smile, and a cheeky giggle. All his
family were there when he passed away.

Our sweet child,our precious boy
The light in our hearts,our pride and joy
For you now,no pain-just freedom and peace
In a far away place,that one day we will reach
May the world cry tears for you in reflection
Of your smiles and happiness and pure perfection
While your time in this world was brief and not long
Your memories and light,in our lives still burns strong
For you are now the star that lights and guides the way
For us to grow stronger each and every day
